Difference between Data and Information
Data
Data is raw fact ,unorganized material used as input. It has various forms like letters, numbers, images, or characters. Computer data for example represented in binary form that is 0 and 1. It can measured using un its like Nibble, Bits, kilobytes, Megabytes, Gigabytes, Bytes, Terabytes, Petabytes, etc.
Data is of two types :
- Primary data
- Secondary data
Information
Information is processed form of data that is structured, processed, and presented with assigned meaning. It is derived from data and Knowledge is derived from data. Information is easy to understand and helps in decision making.
Difference between Data and Information
